Bring the person who will actually sit there. Set the front seat for the regular driver, place your normal bags in the vehicle and try entry and exit without a showroom assistant moving everything out of the way. A photograph cannot establish whether a footrest supports your legs comfortably.
Then test five things: the normal travelling position, the permitted recline range, the support under your thighs, the controls you use most and the space left for other occupants.
